Service Description
This package will allow you to experience the phrase “deep history” compacted in just two days. Your group will get to explore key areas inside Birmingham impacted by the Civil Rights Movement and the effect convict leasing had on newly emancipated slaves in the coal mines. This is all followed by the Montgomery-Selma voyage where guests relive and even walk the very path of African slaves from the slave ship to the action block and then hear the deep story of their victorious rise to freedom. ***Note: Tour bus must be provided by group. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing (email is acceptable) and are effective when received. - Refund eligibility: To be eligible for a refund, you must submit your cancellation/refund request at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time of the service. Requests received less than 48 hours before start time are not refundable. - If you cancel and request a refund (with 48+ hours’ notice), we will retain 25% of the invoice total as a non‑refundable administrative fee to cover scheduling, staffing/guide time, coordination, payment processing fees, and other preparation costs. The remaining 75% will be refunded. - If we must cancel due to circumstances within our control, you will receive a full refund of amounts paid, or you may reschedule at no additional charge. - Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically process within 5–10 business days.
